More Problems?

I've finally started to get some of my tomatoes to ripen, all be it mostly by putting them on a windowsill in the sun but I notice that some of them are "badly marked" as in the picture. They've been growing in a small lean to greenhouse. Am I doing something wrong, are they still OK to eat? They are Shirleys.

  • They'll be fine @alanbee.  That is minor skin surface damage, probably caused by insects such as thrips when the fruit was still green.  It is only superficial and won't affect the tomato flesh beneath.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
