NO GOOSBERRYS WHY?

I have three bushes that have good air round them, but all berries have mildew, well watered and pruned to let in plenty of air can anyone help plz ?????

  • Sorry, don't know - you seem to be doing things right... the only constructive thing I can add is that there are some varieties which are more resistant to mildew than others.  The three "Hinnomaki" ones and "Invicta" come to mind, but there may be others too.
    Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    How are you growing them?
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    They are growing in the orchard where they have been for the last 10yrs with no problem till this season

    It's been a bad year for mildews here which I suspect it's a result of the inconsistent weather.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
