Not ready to plant bulbs-storage

I went a bit mad in the garden centre yesterday and bought a load of bulbs. Realistically it will be a few weeks before we get round to planting them as lots of more urgent things to be done in meantime. Where should I store them in the meantime? Inside the house but will need to be somewhere out of way eg dark cupboard-will that make them sprout? Or could put in greenhouse/shed but we get a lot of mice and not sure how to protect them - would they go mouldy in a plastic box? Thanks!

Cool, dark and dry would be best, but if it's only for a couple of weeks they'll be fine in a cupboard in the house. Just don't forget you hid them away!
