@AnniD there's no crying coming from the house. They're all inside now and I can see a patch of darker spines that may be the mum. I've put the trail cam pointed at the door to catch any movement.
Just to add to the hoglet saga, I have adults during the year but hoglets only appear in August here. This year one baby ( small enough to sit in a saucer and be able to turn around in it😍) seems to have been brought and left here. Yesterday at 11am it was wandering around looking for food, it had been eating as usual during the night, but like you I don't like to see them in the day. It did come out last night as usual and plenty of food was gone, I do hope it has time to put the weight on to survive winter. It is the first one that appears to be using my hog house.😁
@AnniD@Fairygirl The mum is definitely in there! Although she's possibly getting a bit fed up with her babies! I saw one of the hoglets eating in a flower bed during the night so I'd say they're being weaned at the moment.
She moved the camera so the pictures are a bit wonky. Ignore the date and time on the pics, they go crazy when the batteries die.
Yet again baby hog is out in the day This is after coming to the feeding station 7 times last night ( even sharing the food with an adult, not the one from a few nights ago) Sorry for the grainy photos from the night cam😊 As you can see half the size of an adult.

That is good news. Sounds like they're all doing well.
Fingers crossed for your youngster @purplerallim 🦔
You become like a new mother when they're in the garden
Fingers crossed for you too @purplerallim.
