Senecio 'Angel Wings' wilting and leggy

Hi there!

So I bought this beautiful plant about three months ago and repotted it. It was doing okay for those three months but now it looks droopy, leggy and rolled up. It also gets these brown crunchy spots on its leaves. It sits on my NorthWest facing balcony all day and I only water it when the soil is an inch dry. I really love this plant, but I just don't know what to do. Please help

Hello and welcome. It looks as though it needs a good watering. The new leaves are rolled naturally until they mature, and old ones will roll up to conserve moisture if they lack water. I keep mine quite moist and avoid them drying out during the summer. If it lives on a balcony it is possible that it wont get much rain so it relies on you. I remove dried up leaves as they die off to keep the plant open and fresh. I think that any old dead leaves will get soggy and mouldy if left. They break away from the main stem easily if they are past it. They can get leggy. When mine did I cut off the top, planted it, looked after the rest of the plant which had side shoots and they quickly grew to cover the stump. I'd kept it indoors and it was a lot taller and leggier than yours. This year a horizontal side shoot broke off in the wind and is now an upright plant. I'll soon be overrun by them! I keep all of mine outside all year. I love them.
