Apple blossom in September!

Our wall-trained (but not very productive) Apple tree has decided it is spring and has blossom on it. Is it best to pick it off??

  • Thank you Pansyface! Some good advice in there about watering next summer to prevent it happening again.

Here it was a pear, newly planted last December and followed by nearly 4 months of rain then 2 exceedingly hot, dry months in April and May and another heatwave and drought over July and August.   Hoping it'll have its roots down far enough for next year but will be more vigilant with watering.
