Flowering choisya

My choisya is now coming into full bloom - 15th September!  I know we've had some nice weather lately but really? It's very pretty but does this mean its body clock is now all upside down and it won't flower next year?

    It won't affect it  :)
    It isn't that unusual for plants, especially shrubs, to have a few flowers later in the season. 
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    And some varieties tend to flower twice if it has been warm enough. Mine is on its second flush too.

    Same here for both straight Choisya ternata and 'Aztec Pearl'. This happens most years for me.

    Choisyas normally flower twice a year.

    I agree, Choisyas are quite fast growing and will normally flower in spring and autumn again. A valuable shrub with the added bonus of scent.

    Yup mine too! Most years,  has a couple of growth spurts then blooms.... lovely
