@Bee witched  I understood that to be a simple typing error and not a spelling error.  English grammar is very difficult for French people.  We learn it as being neither..nor.

@Papi Jo    Better said as "I don't grow agapansus or agapanthus.  (As in French, no 2 negatives in the same sentence).

    Cheers

A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

  • They do tend to produce roots in odd places and if yours is flowering well, it could be best to let it be and just make sure to feed well and often. The only reason to disturb it would be if flowering was declining because it was potbound--and even then I'd check it had lots of sun before assuming it was anything else. So you may be able to keep the hacksaw in the shed.

I have a Agaphansus that now has roots coming out of the bottom of the pot.
How and when is the best time to divide it ?

    Agaphansus? What are they?

I'm not sure what's going on here? I wrote Agaphansus!! I am Slightly  Dyslexic.  Please dont make fun of someone who is asking a genuine question.
That's not what the forum is here for.😔

I believe that one of the biggest causes of non flowering is lack of water, and FEEDING post flowering.
Give them a feed now to start bud formation underground, in the same way we feed Daffodils after they've finished to give them a boost for next season.

Please don't worry @andreamoreton. Papi Jo thinks it's funny, which it isn't, and he knew perfectly well what plant you meant, which makes it even less funny.
I hope you got the relevant info you needed  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

@andreamoreton, please don't get upset, l am sure @Papi Jo didn't mean anything by it.
Humour is very selective,  what one person falls about at, another just doesn't find funny at all. Believe me,  l know 😳.
Don't let it put you off, l hope the various bits of advice you have been given prove helpful  :)
