  I think the white one is less invasive for garden planting. Correct me if I’m wrong someone.

  I have two clumps of white ones - they are lovely and have not spread as much as I hoped!

  I suspect that depends on your soil.  I gardened for someone in Northumberland who had to get rid of their white willowherb because it was making a bid for world domination...

  Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
