bulb fibre for tulips

Hi everyone
I planted tulip bulbs yesterday- first time ever. I added some bulb fibre which was nicely placed next to the bulbs at my gardening centre. Now i read bulb fibre is only recommended in pots and has no nutritional value. Are my tulips going to flower anyway or should i dig them out again?
thanks

Bulb fibre isn't suitable for anything but pots. It's really just a medium used to prevent waterlogging, but would be no use in a border.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
