In order to have any chance for identification, particularly a red one is to get a good close up of the leaves and the overall bush as the growth habit is sometimes a giveaway.
@Marlorena and @edhelka any chance you have any idea which rose this could be? You posted on another rose I asked about so thought I would tag you here just in case. Any ideas would be welcome. Thank you!
I'm sorry it's just not possible to id that rose with any accuracy from what we have there... too many red roses, many of which are now lost to commerce.. who knows when it was planted? what year? that might help to narrow things down to eliminate roses bred more recently..
..for i.d. purposes, the best pictures are those taken in June, and one needs to see full, wide open blooms, showing stamens if possible, indications of scent or none,.. and on a well nourished, well grown plant.. with knowledge of approximately when it was put in the ground.. ..anything else would be just guessing really... as an example, I've just done an advanced search on a rose database and it brought back 178 pages of red roses... so you see the difficulty, so unless it's one that's immediately recognisable, and few are, then it's an impossible task..
Ok thanks for your help and attempts at identifying it. It’s in my parents garden in a house they’ve recently moved into so we have no idea when it was planted etc.
