I find eggs in my pots in my garden, which a big egg and look like chiken eggs

I find eggs in my pots in my garden which a big and look like chiken eggs.
How do they get there.
What should I do with them?

  • You don't have ducks visiting your garden do you? Mind you its a bit late for all of them. If it is a chicken egg then I would suggest you have a fox.

    Find them all the find in the flower beds. It's foxes.
  • Yes, foxes steal eggs and then bury them as a ‘larder’ to come back to later when food is scarce.

    I would bin them, but first you should wrap them in newspaper or something and beware, they are likely to be rotten and will absolutely stink if the shells are broken.
