They are looking very 'rusty' now T'Bird. I'm leaving them alone for the goldfinches.

  • Hi everyone,
Wow, your plant haul sounds amazing Topbird.
I've got some of those too LB, I can never remember what they are called.
Shame about the cooker Rubee, hope you get the wire cutters soon.
Ante glad all went well at the dentist.
Hazel, glad boiler is now sorted, just in time for the cold weather arriving by the weekend 😣 Do you live in a  oldy worldly house, hope that doesn't sound rude, I just wondered as you said dragging it into modern times. And it sounds like you have a lovely big bathroom.......would love a house with beams and proper fireplace.
Chive, hope work went well today.
Oh heck minds gone blank......hope everyone is well

Managed to get a couple of birthday cards, your right Hazel they're not that great are they. 😕 Did have a quick look at the Xmas cards too......sorry! The family ones weren't that great either....have plenty for friends and neighbours from the sales.
First poppet wants me to knit her a scarf, so I've looked through my wool and found something suitable. Will knit it in Seed stitch so the back looks as good as the front 😉

SGL, the scarf sounds a lovely idea. Hazel did you manage to get the Rupert Bear scarf started yet? I'm waiting for some more wool to arrive. I want every square on my blanket a different colour.

    Evening All,
Ante I’m not surprised all the sweet treats all went that is a very nice thought of you to take them in. It does sound very strict guidelines at your school that can’t be easy to follow,
T’bird That is a nice collection of plants you have bought they’ll make a lovely display. My Choisya White Dazzler has just started to flower again, slight confusion with the season I think,
LB That is a great picture the bees are really loving those Echinops, lovely details captured on the photo,
Hazel Hope all goes well tomorrow, it sounds like you are well prepared for the workmen plenty of tea and biscuits! You’re not kidding about the amount of fishing gear, he has his own shed to store it away,
Lily You did well card buying is tricky, sometimes you get the perfect one but it has to have nice words too. The scarf will be lovely for 1st poppet, what a nice thing to be making,
    Hope Rosie is ok,
    Have a nice evening everyone.

Good morning everybody. I hope all goes well with the wire stripper arrival and Hazel's new boiler installation. Its pouring with rain here so I doubt there will be much gardening going on today. Got plenty to do inside though.
