Aww, thank you everyone, we really did have a lovely time. You're right Hazel, they certainly cheer you up 🤗 Sorry to hear about the boiler, know what you mean about not liking things turned upside down when work like that has to be done 😕 Hopefully not too long though. Saying night night too, sleep well everyone, sweet dreams
Good Morning LB and all to follow, That was nice of Jacks family to keep a piece of birthday cake for you, I’m pleased they could celebrate before the changes took place. Thank you for the quiz, I could only see a couple, but well done to the others on their answers, Good luck with the boiler fitting next week Hazel, the disruption is hard going particularly when it creates lots of additional jobs. Good to get it done before it’s too wintry. Lily glad you had a nice time with your poppets yesterday, I’m having to keep signing in it’s a bit of a pain at the moment, Hope you all have a nice Sunday.
Morning LB, Chive and all to follow. It certainly is a misty morning out there. The oak leaves are quickly changing colour now and dropping. The grass will be too wet today, but hopefully get another cut in during next week. Have you put all bits back in the lounge now Chive, bet it looks cosy. I wonder how Deb is getting on with her dining room and kitchen. SM shop due this morning, I wonder what's missing now people are stock piling again 🙄 Just time for one more cup of tea 😉 See you all later, have a lovely Sunday
Good morning everyone .Lovely pic LB . Chive I have to keep signing in too ,never sign out . Today I have to help OH get our old cooker out of the house. It stopped working about a week ago . OH did a lot of research and found the cooker we wanted .That is arriving tomorrow .New C19 rules , men delivering cooker will put the cooker inside the front door .The rest is up to us . Understandable , but that makes it much harder for us .
Morning Chive, SGL, Hazel and Ruby. I forgot to answer a question posed yesterday, the birthday cake was delicious. It had been made to look like a fishpond - with fish like Jack's Koi (I really miss that pond!) around it. I did get a tail fin! I shall miss seeing the rellies today but these things must be done. I'm very glad that I am not a student. I feel so sorry for all those young people, especially the freshers (Ante = first year students but I think you might know that one! ) I just realised that this year so far has meant lots of new things for quite a few Rezzers. Ruby, just take it nice and easy moving the cooker. I shouldn't think you'll have too many problems as my Bestie had to get a new cooker this year and she and her daughter managed to shift it. It was a narrow one to replace her old one and she had more trouble finding one to fit her space than actually moving the old one out and fitting the new one in.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good Morning Lily, Hazel & Rubee, Lily Good luck with the SM shop hope they have all you need. Yes of course Debs is getting her new kitchen installed, I hope all is going well. Everything is back in the lounge, it’s nice to see it all finished. Hazel It will be worth the upheaval for the change of boiler, I’m sure you’ll be ready for decorating action once the work is done, Rubee That’s not ideal is it having to remove your old cooker and install the new one yourselves mind how you go, Hope you have a good day,
Rubee, I take it it's an electric oven not gas 😕 They're heavy things to move whatever they are. Can understand, but other types of workmen go in people's homes. 🤷🏻♀️ Take care.
