I just had a phone call from Jack (ex cat sitter) as he had a piece of his birthday cake for me. I nipped over the road and his daughter met me on the pavement at the bottom of his drive. I went up to his window, waved and blew him a kiss. He was settling down to watch a film. Difficult times not being able to chat to him.

Enjoy the birthday cake LB. I was trying to think why you couldn’t go for a chat with Jack (taking all sensible precautions of course) but then I remembered you’re probably in a local lockdown area. What a shame. I hope Jack had a lovely day in spite of everything🎂🎂🎂

Yes indeed T'Bird. In lockdown. No fraternising with friends in either their homes or gardens until the great panjandrum says so

Jack had a lovely family day on his birthday (before he who must be obeyed issued his edict). Keeping to the rule of six, his daughter organised a take away and his grand daughter got some 'Happy Birthday' lights for him. At 90 years young he deserved that.

Yes I know RB, cancelled  her GW account, but just hoped she might look in now and again. You may be right, but before I ever joined GW, you were able look in and read posts but couldn't post anything. But maybe you can't do that now 🤷‍♀️ I hope she's ok too.
I sometimes have trouble getting on here too. Quite often have to sign in.....i never sign out 🤔
Oh heck Topbird, do hope your OH doesn't get too wet 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
