Mulberry Harvest at Hardwick Hall

I just caught up with a Farming Today on the harvest of mulberries from the mulberry tree avenue.

They get baked into scones etc.

About 1:30 in on the episode from 27 August. Online for about another 2 weeks.

    I am a regular visitor, as it is local to me and can confirm that the scones are indeed delicious.

    The whole area around my town now seems to be infested with the most delicious scones in visitor centres in the country parks which are where all our spoil heaps were, and the urban parks.

    They even have somewhere to play boule in Mansfield.
