Adjusting soil pH for raspberries

The soil in my garden is generally slightly acidic clay.
But a few years ago I had an area levelled and landscaped and raised beds put in.
I had 25 ton of topsoil to fill the raised beds (to a depth of about 2ft), but have noticed that soft fruits in that area don't perform very well
I managed to find the spec of the topsoil I had delivered and it's at pH 7.8 which is too high for soft fruits.
I've just ordered some flowers of sulphur do you reckon that'll do the trick and how often should I apply?
Thanks
