For information and to be more specific, photo 1 is Clematis Voluceau; photo 2 is a Jasmine Tracelospermum; photo 3 is a Lonicera Japonica Halliana and is in a 50 x 50cm pot as will the other 2 be in when the time is right to move them. Does this help identify more clearly if and when I can cut these climbers to rejuvenate and remove the straggly stems? Also, we’re on the South coast.
50 x 50 still isn't enough for a honeysuckle IMO. They just aren't good in pots. Probably the clematis will be fine. It'll need a good soil based medium, plenty of watering and food, and good drainage. I see it's a Group 3 so they get cut back in late winter/early spring. They [group 3s] flower on new growth, but they cover a big area if growing well, so that still doesn't change the fact that it has nowhere to go in that narrow space/trellis, so it will grow through the laurel on the right, and you could probably put wires above that garage [?] door and train stems that way and tie them in. That might be acceptable for your needs
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
