Cactus ID & advice please :)

Morning all.
Can anyone identify this cactus? I've had it 6 years and it's outgrown the bay window space.
I have nowhere else to put it so wondered if it could be possible to cut down and replant the off-cut. It bleeds profusely when disturbed so I'm very weary of what to do.

    It's not a cactus it's actually a type of Euphorbia. E. Trigona I think. it grows easily from cuttings but beware of the sap as it's toxic and an irritant. 
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

    Wow! Didn't know it was Toxic sap. It bleeds even under it's own scratches when I take it for a shower, can't imagine what's gonna come out if I cut a main stem off.
