When to plant out Lonicera cuttings

Hello
I took these Lonicera cuttings 6 weeks ago and they seem to be doing well enough. I’d like to plant them out shorty, can I do that directly in the garden now at this stage or should I wait? Thank you!

They need to be potted up separately and grown on, assuming they all have a root system.
They might be big enough next year to plant out.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Ok thanks. So pot them seperatly and keep them in a sheltered location over winter. Then plant out in spring?

Potted up separately - providing they are actually rooted. You need to check the bottom of the pot. If there are little roots showing through the holes, then they're rooted.

You can plant out next spring if they're a decent size. That will depend on your conditions and the site they're going into, and how well they fill the pots they're in. If they're still small, and conditions are poor [ie snow/ice/frost etc] I'd wait until later in the year, and pot them on again first.  :)
