album bulbs all gone awol

seakaleseakale Posts: 142
I first planted allium bulbs about 20 years ago having seen them at Chelsea.  They appear and multiply every year without fail, so I have dug a farir few bulbs up to pass on to other gardeners.  This year, pretty much zilch in the way of bulbs and I wonder if the tremendous heat wave has anything to do with it?  Has anyone had the same problem well only if you do as I do dig them up to pass on.

Are there white grubs where the bulbs should be? I am thinking onion fly grubs eating the bulbs.
