Bellis plants

I have Bellis plants that are supposed to be spring flowers but are still flowering now. One of the plants has died off, do I leave it to come again next year or lift and compost?

    If we have a mild winter the plants may survive, but normally they are classed as seasonal bedding and are discarded when they finish flowering.
