Bath Tub Pond

I have an old bath I want to reuse as a water feature- Using the runoff (waterfall) pumped back through the tap. 
Being new to ponds and water features your expertise will be helpful.
What are the most cost-effective or best setups, trays, pumps, and pipes, and what other issues should I consider?

    Thanks, it's a nonmetal bath so should be OK on the warming up, and probably should have said it's for a semi-shaded part of the garden.
