It looks a lot like millet

Yes, a grain from a bird feeder ... looks a lot like millet.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Looks like the corn that is grown for seed down here. But yes, an escaped bird seed, I reckon!
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.
