I gave up on the cup and saucer. I think it needs more sun than I can provide.
  • I was giving mine plenty of sun and my cup and saucer never flowered.   Maybe there is a trick to it?

I think we don't have enough weeks of the right light level and warmth in the UK (same for me in Belgium) Mine flowered late in August but not a lot of flowers. I've had the same with ipomea which is s only flowering now.
  • I clearly got lucky with mine...still flowering. But can imagine it will start to wilt soon enough with the evening temperatures reaching 10C and below.

Funnily enough this just popped up as a memory from a year ago on my IG feed. Didn’t get many flowers, so I’ve not grown them this year...

  • My cup and saucer is flowering prolifically at the moment but like everyone else it's very late this year. I think the cold snap in August checked it. The cold will get it soon though, you can tell when it's had enough as the leaves go purple.
