Asparagus fern needs help!

I have just inherited this sorry looking specimen. Advice needed as to what to do!

Good morning!  I'd probably clip it back to about a couple of inches to the base.  Water it and watch it. It doesn't look dead, perhaps been placed in a hot spot!  When it starts to grow again maybe a little feed.  Crushed eggshells in water make a good fertiliser spray.
A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

I agree ... cut all that back to the base ... give it a good soaking and put it on a northfacing windowsill or similar.
I think that’s not actually an asparagus fern although that’s what it’s often known as ... I’m wracking my brain to remember what its real name is 🤔

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
