Aquilegia - Lime Sorbet

Never sown these seeds before - can I sow indoors in September?  Or is it best to wait until early next year?

Can’t really answer your question - but I sowed them four weeks ago. The packet indicated they might take some time to germinate - but I have already potted ten individually and they are growing well. So have a go!
  • Thank you 👍 glad to hear they are growing well - did you plant seeds straight outside?
  • Sowed mine about four weeks ago also and have potted on twice already. I think you would be okay sowing now but they can be a bit fickle so sow in seed tray or pot, keep in a greenhouse or somewhere warm and sheltered
  • Great - thank you - will give it a go! 👍
  • Hello can anyone tell me when Aquilegia Lime Sorbet should be planted out in borders. Seeds germinated well, now growing well in 2in cells. They’re about 4in tall with roots just starting to poke out the bottom of pot.Thanx
