What to do now? Brussel Sprouts

Hi there

I'm a complete novice and gone a bit rogue due to conflicting information I read online as to what to do at each stage so I just sow..and see!
These brussels have started at seed in the window sill in small pots then when they got larger I potted them into this silver container and put outside. However I noticed they were getting holes in the leaves so I brought them back in. Just wondering if they still have life in them yet? and if so what are the next steps?

thanks in advance

@pamela864  Hi - you safely plant them outside.
Sprinkle a few slug pellets around them.
Protect them with some netting for white butterfly and birds.
    Sit back and be patient.
    Send in photos.

A good hoeing is worth two waterings.

  • Thank you. Yes I noticed a white butterfly paying particular attention to them when they were outside. I will give that a try :)

    thanks for your response

Not a lot of soil in the container. Could do with topping up.  :)
Is there drainage in the container @pamela864?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
