Old top soil and compost

Hello,

I have 2 unopened bags of Westland Nutrient Rich Top Soil that I found buried in the garage. I bought this about 6 or 7 years ago and was wondering if it is still usable? I just want to bulk up a border. I obviously don't want to use it if it won't be viable anymore.

    That would be fine to use to bulk up a border. Come next spring you could always sprinkle some fertiliser over it.
