Definitely a show pigeon. If you get the chance to go to a bird show you will see some extraordinary pigeons, fluffy top knots, baggy bloomers enormous crop pouches, tatty looking feathers. All coming from the common wood pigeon by breeding selection.
Not sure if the fancy varieties are vermin as they are cossetted in aviaries and closely looked after by their pigeon fancier owners. They are too expensive to leave to roam free. The one in the pic is an escapee. Now the common pigeon. That is another story altogether. Shot guns at the ready.
