Masses of bulbs

My friend has just moved to a house that has large clumps of above ground bulb looking plants which have new flower shoots currently growing. Would love to know what they are called.

From the appearance and time of year my guess is that they're Nerine bowdenii
lucky her ... I've never had a spot that suits them
