Ceratostigma

hi
im looking up information on my ceratostigma forest blue and have found that it is happy in any soil - acid alkaline or neutral.(farmyard nurseries co uk)   However when I looked up what to feed the plant it has suggested a balanced food for ericaceous plants.   My plant was probably planted in with multipurpose compost not ericaceous compost.  I’m not sure about feeding a plant in multi purpose compost an ericaceous feed.  Confused.

I would not worry too much about what type of feed to give it. As long as you top dress with more compost or well rotted manure once a year, I am sure your plants will be fine.

These shrubs are mass planted on our estate and they have just had their original top dressed of bark mulch and it is really neglected from then on. But every year, they come back looking great, especially in the autumn time when the leaves turn orange and reds.
