Aphids?

Dug up our corn and found this (picture attached) all over the roots, does anyone know what this is? Really hoping it hasn’t spread to the adjacent tomatoes!

Apologies, but eyesight problems prevent me from identifying the problem. However my asvice is to burn the lot. Don't waste your money on all sorts of insecticides etc. Our of interest, this link may be of interest.
