Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • MANY thanks; very helpful. Cheers...
  • We were given this plant from a friend in our garden club many years ago. It grows quite tall and be careful when moving near it when in fruit as it can stain. The birds love it.
The flowers in the spring are a faint pink.
You will find it all over the garden once its seeds are spread but easily pulled up.

To be grown with extreme care if you have cattle or horses nearby as it is poisonous to them as are the fruits to we humans and the sap can irritate skin.  However, I have never had a problem with it and birds love the fruits.
