Foxgloves
Hi, I planted some foxgloves out in the borders, they all seem to have established well with big thick leaves and what looks like a sturdy center. Obviously I know they won't flower until next year as there a biennial. So I'm wondering should I mulch them over winter?? Thanks

East facing, top of a hill clay-loam, cultivated for centuries (7 years by me). Birmingham
Mulching round any plant is fine, as long as you're not completely burying the crown under 6 inches of it, especially in wet areas.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Cant wait to see them next year!
