Hydrangea problem

I have an hydrangea which we inherited but during the last couple of months I have noticed white spots on the leaves and some of the branches. Can anyone tell me how to deal with this please?

Hi Blackster, I had a bad case last year. Prune off the worst effected leaves (and branches), destroy them do not compost. For remaining infestation I washed with a mild vinegar, oil and water solution as I do not use pesticides. It was hard work and I lost a few flowering stems but both effected plants have bounced back with beautiful new growth, if less flowers until next year. Treat in the same way as soon as you see first signs of new infestation and it should keep it at bay.

good luck, let us know how it goes.
