Lighting

Hi guys so I’m sort of finished with landscaping etc all I’m doing now is cosmetic stuff and accessorising the garden. I’m considering putting some solar light around, and possibly looking at solar lighting on the concrete fence posts as opposed to hardwired just because I don’t have a power outlet nearby. Has anyone done this, or have any suggestions for decent solar lights I really don’t want to invest in something that’s going to fail on me 90% of the time. Cheers guys

    I've never found them much use, to be honest. Maybe that's because of my climate, or because they've been cheaper ones.
    I bought some better ones from a company online who specialise, but the rainwater just gets in them :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Brilliant thanks I’d hate that. May not bother if that’s the case, the wife really wants hanging led lights around the fences so might look into some slightly more budget ones and at least it won’t be much of a loss if they fail. Just didn’t want to do the fence posts for them not to work

    If you want solar then maybe think about getting a leisure battery and solar panel setup that's designed for caravans and attaching it to your shed. With a transformer attached you can run any standard waterproof light fitting. Just be mindful of light pollution and get fittings that don't cast too much light upwards or into your neighbours' windows.
    If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

     Solar wall lights are practical investments because they are energy-efficient, safe for users and the environment, and can provide adequate illumination.
    Aside from improving the ambiance and the entire look of your place, they are ideal to use for security purposes. :)
