Do chilies need a supporting structure?

My chili plant (normally kept in the greenhouse) is now 85cm tall with several fruits developing. Should I add some sticks to prevent the risk of any branches keeling over/snapping off?

Yes - that does and ASAP.
A cane about 1" in from the side and tie the stem to it so it doesn't keel over
    Nice looking chillies

  • Thanks for the advice (and the compliment 😊)
It's chilli "Anaheim", which I'm growing for the first time. Watering /feeding once a week.
It did wilt a bit last week in the extreme heat but perked up again at the weekend when the weathered changed.
I've just put three sticks around the edge of the pot and tied with twine at several points.
