Is this propagator any good?

Ive salvaged this propagator. Its very old and the plastic starting to degrade and its losing its transparency. Do seedlings need as much light as possible? IE: Is the lack of opacity in the plastic going to be detrimental?
Other than that its still fairly sturdy. :)

Might make a difference when you are intending to use it, I would think seeds would be fine from June onwards otherwise it looks perfect for cuttings. Sort of like a mini cold frame.

If you can find some Perspex polish, give it a clean with that. It’ll restore some of the transparency. I have a propagater in a worse condition than that and it’s fine for germinating seeds.
