  • This came up in Gardners Question Time yesterday and do as wild edges said and report via their website.
What ever you do do not sow them.

Looking at the OPs name, I did wonder as well.... ;)

We had a whole thread recently about it @bertrand-mabel, because someone had clearly received these dodgy 'this'll boost my approval ratings' seeds. It's a massive con just now.  :/

For the benefit of others and plumping up Wild Edge’s earlier advice

“forward on the packets of seeds with the original envelope/package the seeds were mailed in to:

    Paul Bratby
    APHA-PHSI
    2nd Floor
    Apex Court
    City Link
    Nottingham
    NG2 4LA  “

The seeds will then be destroyed.

Thanks. They are in the post.   My concern is that they are sold through a UK retailer
and as the buyer we do not know until they are delivered. So strict controls on seed standards are not being observed or on other goods. ??

I'm confused. You've bought seeds from a UK supplier but you think the seeds have been sourced from Singapore but haven't received the seeds yet to verify this? Or are the seeds being sent from Singapore directly to you? Can you tell us what the seeds are supposed to be?
Singapore has a well respected horticultural industry so it is a bit different from just being sent seeds from China which you didn't actually order. Seeds for certain plants are bound to be sourced from abroad so it's not always bad as long as the necessary checks are made on them.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
