replanting bulbs from pot to ground

is it possible to replant bulb plant from pot to ground before the flowering seasson ?

    My answer would be yes. You can either leave them in the pot and bury them or remove from pot with a bit of care.

    yep. I generally do it after the leaves have died down, but any time up to usual planting time for the bulbs (autumn for most of the common ones) will probably work well enough. Tulips are the only problem ones - they don't often flower in the second year. That's not because they're transplanted, they just don't.
