Well, fortunately gardening eases off this time of year too - for me anyway!
Later on,I will plant out some container roses in the last chance saloon. I shall look as pathetic as a puppy with an injured paw. Hopefully, my husband will do the manly thing😊

Sad to say mine is back with a vengeance.....again. And winter may be rest time for some, but I usually do a lot of the hard work type gardening over winter.

I just wanted to come back and say thanks to everyone for your advice. It did ease entirely over time, so I haven't had to wear the strap on a daily basis for ages and generally remember to put it on before gardening. But I was reminded today how easily it can return. I was using secateurs repeatedly - no strap - for about half an hour and suddenly, there was the pain. Put the strap on, no more pain (and hopefully I've stopped it in its tracks). Thanks all - brilliant and effective advice.
