Strange produce were raised from seed as Lemon Cucumber

Can anyone help for a few years I have grown Lemon Cucumbers, this year planted Lemon Cucumber seeds and what has grown are like small cucumbers but are a green/rustic brown with some strange shapes, the skins are very hard inside look cucumberish. They start off green then turn to what's on the photos. Not good tasting.

My son says that there have been some dodgy Chinese seeds circulating may be some of them.

If they have come from a garden centre in a named packet, complain to the seed merchant.
