  I had a max min thermometer in my polytunnel. It didn't last long after hitting 52.2C

  I bought one of these in 2014 and has worked well until a couple of months ago.

  My old min/max thermometer died going the other way from @Hostafan1's but I did have it outside - died at -25C in Belgium.

  Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.
