Overseeding lawn what fertiliser to use,worried about rust stains from iron sulphate ?
I have recently removed weeds from my lawn that had had been quite prolific over the years and so I need to overseed to grow grass on all the patchy bald areas which are numerous.
I have been speaking to a chap that swears by westlands lawn sand,the thing is after reading about such products that contain iron sulphate I'm very worried about staining my next door neigbours brand new blocked paved drive with rust stains fron the iron sulphate,although it's dark in colour he's only just had it done and it cost him a fortune,can anyone tell me if there is any way around this,I'm feeling stressed about it.Even if it's apllied delicately if we get torrential rain again which is possible at the moment that will be enough to cause a problem with over run and possibly that heavy rain could even flick up granules on to his drive
