I’ve also had the beautiful elephant hawk moth in the garden. Nature is prolific this year.

The Red underwing is quite a spectacular moth when flying,I had thought it was a butterfly at first,quite a flash of red!

Thank you both. The nearest I could find was an emperor. Glad to know the correct name.
