Wallflowers

I planted two types of wallflower seeds in May to transplant in the Autumn for next spring. They both grew quite well so I transplanted them into a raised bed ready to be dug up to plant in the border. One of the varieties Purple Sugar Rush is now in flower. Does anybody know if this is normal and will it affect their flowering next year? The yellow variety Cloth of Gold is growing well but not flowering.
