Is your lawn really that bad?

I always have a chuckle when someone says their lawn looks bad and see it actually has grass in it.Mine is really struggling and has 1 inch wide cracks in various places.
Here we have had no appreciable rain since March and not cut the lawn since April.
I have now given up!!

Not that bad, but it's getting there.

It actually looks better in the photo than in reality!

It looks vaguely familiar, but I'm hoping the bald patches in mine  will fill up nicely with flat weeds. It usually does.
    Monoculture lawns are soooo boring😊

It's the good, damp Scottish climate @madpenguin. Lots of green...  ;)

Mine looks great. On a hot day the clover feels lovely and cool on bare feet, there's grasshoppers chirping away in the long areas and the sparrows have been feasting on the grass seed as it ripens. And it's not made of bloody plastic :|
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I thought walking on clover in bare feet was lovely too, until I stepped on a bee😖
