Unknown tree?

does anyone know what this tree is and why its leaves are going brown

    Could it be a Plum tree? The leaves may be stressed due to congestion and lack of water? Shot-hole disease could be another issue. Normally, they start off with small brown spots that eventually turn into holes that enlarge over time. Sometimes, you may see some small holes on the bark and larger branches.
