Lawn issue

Hi, my nice new grass has gone wrong. Looking at the top right and top of first photo it looks completely different from the rest of the grass. This area won’t stand up properly and looks awful. It gets the same amount of sun as the rest of the garden so it’s not a light issue. What am I dealing with here?
